Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to receive my order?
If the item(s) are in stock, they will be mailed within 3 – 5 business days (usually within 1 – 2 days). If the item(s) are on pre-order or back order, it can take up to 2 – 4 weeks before they go out (as they have not yet been printed). See merchandise pages for pre-order deadlines and estimated delivery info.
Currently, clothing is printed in limited batches to keep prices affordable, while enabling me to donate to animal sanctuaries without losing money. If I do not have your order in stock, you will be notified via email.
What is your return policy?
If there is any kind of printing problem or merchandise defect, I will send a replacement or refund your money. All orders are inspected prior to being sent out, so hopefully this won’t happen!
Jewelry and accessories (including ornaments) are final sale.
Unworn and unused shirts may be exchanged for a different size within 2 weeks from the original ship date, provided that the desired replacement is in stock. If item is not in stock, alternate arrangements will be made. Custom and wholesale orders are final sale, unless they are defective, as explained above.
Prior to ANY exchange, buyer must contact Dirty Snouts (info@dirtysnouts.com) to make arrangements for replacement of the item(s). Any merchandise sent back without having made prior arrangements can not be guaranteed a replacement.
Shipping and insurance charges from the original order are not refundable. Buyer is responsible for the costs to return the merchandise, as well as cover the shipping and insurance costs (if applicable) of the replacement merchandise.
Any merchandise being exchanged must be in its original condition – unworn and unused. It should be carefully packed and sent back to Dirty Snouts using a trackable delivery service.
How much are shipping costs?
Shipping costs are based on items purchased, with $5.00 per t-shirt or canvas, $7.00 per hoodie and $3.00 per jewelry or accessory within the 48 lower US. Shipping these items outside of the country costs more. If you are purchasing a lot of items to be sent outside the US, please contact me (stacey@dirtysnouts.com) and I can double check shipping costs.
Shipping is free on purchases of: $50.00 or more within the lower 48 states and $100.00 or more in Canada.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! When you order online, you can select from the 48 contiguous United States, Canada, select European countries and Australia. If you are located elsewhere, please email stacey@dirtysnouts.com with your details and I will try to make it happen!
Customers are responsible for all VAT (Value Added Tax) and any duties that their countries collect. These are not included in the price of the order.
What shipping method do you use?
I ship USPS Priority or First Class mail and packages usually take 2 – 5 days to get to their destination (within the US) and 2 – 3 weeks for international, depending on the country. Once your item goes out, you’ll get a tracking number via email. Rush shipping can be purchased for an additional cost. Email info@dirtysnouts if this is of interest to you.
Can I purchase Dirty Snouts™ merchandise in stores?
No, I sell primarily through this website and at limited events and festivals (such as Vegan and Veg Fests). I’m also in the process of setting up sales through animal sanctuaries.
Which sanctuaries do you donate to?
All donation recipients are U.S. based, 501(c)3 non-profit organizations helping farmed animals in need. While most donations go to the sanctuary listed on my Animal Friends page, certain items are sanctuary specific (my “cowmeo” necklaces and Mini Morty marshmallow pieces are examples of these). In these cases, the sanctuary receiving the donation is listed on the page of that item in my shop.
Do you do custom orders? How do I order wholesale (for my animal sanctuary)?
Dirty Snouts™ shirts make great souvenirs for animal sanctuary visitors! Additionally, they serve as inspirational and thought provoking gear for sanctuary volunteers or staff, while
providing uniformity amongst your team.
Shirts can be purchased as is or be customized with your sanctuary’s name (minimum quantity of 24 shirts), for an additional charge. I can also print on specific shirt colors that may not be featured on the website. If any of this is of interest to you, please contact info@dirtysnouts.com with your details. I’d love to chat with you about how we can spread positive messages together.
Are your designs original?
Yes! All creations are original works designed by me. They are the property of Dirty Snouts™ and copying any of my designs is copyright infringement. Please email me if you have any questions about this. I am happy for you to share my work, as long as appropriate credit is given.

GARMENT PRINTING: Most items are printed by hand in Wisconsin, where I can support local businesses. Those not printed locally are printed elsewhere in the U.S. with water-based inks.
LITERATURE: Information that’s included with every Dirty Snouts™ purchase is printed with soy-based inks on 50% recycled, 30% post-consumer waste paper and is processed chlorine free.
PACKAGING and GIFT WRAP: Packaging for shipping includes 100% post-consumer waste mailers, recycled bubble mailers, and reuse of cartons, when applicable. Gift wrap includes 100% recycled wrapping paper and envelopes. I also make a conscious effort to make sure that most of my supplies and materials are made in the U.S.
Are there any special washing instructions for your t-shirts?
For best results, machine wash shirts inside out with like colors in cold water. Hang dry for the most eco-friendly option or tumble dry on low heat. Do not iron printed areas.
Where is your merchandise made/printed?
All garments are printed in the U.S. – mostly in Madison, Wisconsin, enabling me to support local businesses. I also create my jewelry and embroidery locally, and I source as much material as I can from domestic manufacturers.
